Zulfi set up his international Global Promise enterprise on just £100 in response to the 2006 Tsunami disaster and raised 2 million pounds in the first four weeks. Today Global Promise are in involved in a variety of initiatives involving:

- Encouraging Enterprise Education
- Sustainable business and climate change
- Healthy Living and Changing Lifestyles
- Peace and Conflict
- Facilitating Fair Trade
With his experience with Global Promise, as well as his ongoing contribution to a whole range of other social enterprises, Zulfi now offers his knowledge and expertise to those who are thinking about starting, already running and/or thinking of expanding their social enterprises.
